Nonna's Response to COVID-19
Updated: Jun 23
Thank you for your support.
We want to start off by expressing how grateful we are for your continued support throughout these uncertain times. We are continually humbled by our beloved patrons support, kindness, and words of encouragement. Please know we are praying for you, our families, and our community.
At Nonna's, we are a family.
Not only are we family owned and operated, but our employees and patrons are an extended part of that nucleus. Nonna's is here to help provide homemade, Italian meals during this difficult time, and the health, safety and overall well-being of our family, and yours, is always our top priority. During this time, we have taken great care and pride in continuing to serve carry out and delivery through door-dash. As we welcome you back to our dining room, we want to assure you we will be upholding our high standards or food preparation and cleanliness, and inform you about our new policies for your peace of mind.
New Policies | What you can Count on
1. Social Distancing - The layout of our restaurant has changed to streamline carry out orders and to adhere to the guidelines of social distancing set forth by government officials.
2. Uniform Policies - All team members will be required to wear masks as part of their uniform. As always, team members who handle food will be required to wear gloves and everyone will wash hands regularly in between tasks.
3. Frequent Hand Washing + Sanitizing- As an added measure, there will be mandatory hand washing every 30 minutes for all team members. Hand sanitizing stations are conveniently placed at the front counter and by the soda machine. We will of course be sanitizing all menus, table numbers, tables, chairs, frequently used surfaces, and waiting areas after each use.
4. New Business Model - Our biggest change will be in the way we serve our dine in patrons. In order to comply with measures of social distancing, we will be switching over from servers to counter service. We will still have hosts that will bring the food to the table and make sure your experience with us is wonderful. But this will speed up our service and also minimize contact with servers.
What we Humbly Ask of You
We recommend wearing a mask whenever ordering or walking in the restaurant. We also encourage you to please keep a healthy (6ft) social distance from other patrons not in your party.
Thank you so much for your understanding and cooperation during this time.
\\ It is our prayer that this difficult time will be over soon!
